Some 250 families and just as many friends have been involved with Small Steps since we started in 1997; and this month we are launching our new family & friends newsletter - a great way for everyone to keep in touch with the very latest Small Steps news! The Sandblasters, are a team of 4 friends of Small Steps (including one ex parent) who are raising a huge amount of money for us by running a series of 250km ultra marathons in the hottest, coldest, driest and windiest parts of the planet. They are about to embark on the Marathon Des Sables, a six day, 243km endurance race across the Sahara Desert, Morocco,which takes place on 1st to 12th April 2010. |

The 2010 London Triathlon
A team of 15 people have donned their trainers and lycra and hit the streets in preparation for doing the triathlon on the 7th and 8th of August in aid of Small Steps. It will be at the Excel centre in Docklands and we would love as many families to come and cheer them on as possible! You can also support the team by sponsoring them at www.justgiving.com/sssfp Jim, Ed, Ron and Kate all have pages up and running so far.
